Youth Council

Unfortunately, the Sanford/Lee County Youth Council's annual Race to Read event and Downtown Litter Sweep have been canceled for 2018 due to limited numbers of youth council participants and competing local events.

We are still accepting contributions to the literacy project and may have a different fundraising event in the future.

Please contact Karen Kennedy at 919-718-4657 ext 5391 if you have suggestions for increasing the number of youth council participants or fundraising ideas in the future for the literacy project.
