The major purpose of the Revenue Department is to provide administrative and clerical services for the billing and collection of water and sewer customers; water, sewer, and street assessments; ordinance violations (parking, noise, animal control, etc.); privilege licenses; and prepare all required notices. The Billing & Collections offices are open Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00pm with the exception of observed holidays.

We provide water services to Sanford and all of Lee County with the exception of Carolina Trace & Quail Ridge. New water & sewer customers may find this information sheet helpful.

City taxes are currently contracted with Lee County and can be paid at the Lee County Tax Collection’s office.
