The
Sanitation program is under the direction of the City’s
General Services Department. Services are contracted
to Waste Management, Inc. for one pickup weekly of both
regular garbage and recyclables. The City Manager, General
Services Director and Solid Waste Superintendent monitor
the waste collector’s performance to promote and
encourage the prevention of litter throughout the City.
The goal of the Solid Waste Division is to provide
timely, efficient, and cost effective services to all
residential customers being responsive to residents’
concerns and desired level of service.
