Elected to her first term in November 2011, Rebecca Wyhof is vice
president of the North Carolina Telecommunications Industry Association,
a trade organization representing carriers providing services
throughout the state.
Before accepting her current position, Wyhof
worked as communications director for the Pew Center for Civic
Journalism, a national nonprofit based in Washington; the North
Carolina Civic Education Consortium; the City of Fayetteville (N.C.)
and the Office of Environmental Security at the Pentagon.
Wyhof received her B.A. in political science
and public communication from The American University in Washington and
Master of Public Administration from the University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill.
