Finance Department

The Finance Department is responsible for ensuring the accountability of public funds and for managing all financial operations of the City which include: 

  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Annual audit process
  • Annual budget preparation
  • Monitoring capital project accounting
  • Capital asset reporting
  • Cash and investment management
  • Debt administration
  • Financial analysis
  • Financial reporting
  • Payroll


Each year the department publishes a Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) which reflects the financial position of the City at fiscal year end.


Since 2015 the department publishes a Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) which is a summary of the financial activities of the city’s funds as reported in the ACFR.


The Department also publishes the City's Annual Operating Budget which serves as a financial guide for the upcoming fiscal year.
