Utility Services
Purpose
Utility Services are handled by the City of Sanford's Customer Service department, which provides administrative and clerical services for the billing and collection of water and sewer customers; water, sewer, and street assessments; and ordinance violations (parking, noise, animal control, etc.).
Hours
The Customer Service department is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. with the exception of observed holidays.

Water Services
We provide water services to Sanford and all of Lee County with the exception of Carolina Trace & Quail Ridge. View a map of our water service area.
Taxes
City taxes are currently contracted with Lee County and can be paid at the Lee County Tax Collection’s office.
