The Facilities and Beautification Divisions goal is to promote and support a high quality of life for the citizens of Sanford by providing maintenance of the City’s property, as well as contributing to the beautification of the City by collecting waste generated by the citizens. The Division is led by Kris Furmage, Facilities Beautification Administrator, and some of their responsibilities include, administration of the trash and recycling contract, plantings at beds, traffic islands, and buildings, mowing right- of- ways, and municipal building maintenance.
