Mural Dedication On October 30

The City of Sanford's Appearance Commission will hold a dedication ceremony for Sanford's newest mural on Monday, Oct. 30 at Yarborough's Homemade Ice Cream on Wicker Street.

The ceremony will dedicate the "Fairview Dairy" mural, which depicts a dairy farm and includes three-dimensional cows -- making it the first of its kind in the state. Read more about the mural here.

The dedication will begin at 5:30 p.m. and last about an hour.

Official Halloween Hours

The City of Sanford's official trick or treating hours are 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on October 31 for ages 12 and under. See more here.
