Extreme Weather Shelter Open House

The community got its first look at Sanford's new extreme weather shelter this past Wednesday.

S3 Housing Connect and The Bread of Life Ministries held an open house at the facility on Maple Avenue, which will open its doors on December 1 as a low-barrier shelter during extreme weather conditions.

Note: The City of Sanford's administrative offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving.
