Reminder: National Night Out is Tuesday!

With 35 sites inside Sanford's city limits and 15 sites in the county, National Night Out (NNO) promises to be fun for everyone on Tuesday night.

But first: To kick off NNO, the Dairy Queen on Horner Boulevard and the Sanford Police Department’s Community Police Unit are teaming up for Cone with Cop on Tuesday.
Bring the kids for free ice cream and a fun coloring contest.

Coordinated by the National Association of Town Watch, this is 35th anniversary of the National Night Out program and the 25th anniversary of the City of Sanford’s participation. Sanford’s program has consistently placed in the top 10 for cities its size across the country. Last year, the city’s program placed first in the nation.
