S3 Housing Connect Brings Cow Patty Bingo to Lee Regional Fair

S3 Housing Connect invites the community to play Cow Patty Bingo at the Lee Regional Fair on September 14 for the chance to win up to $500 and gain free entry to the fair.

This is the first fundraiser for S3 Housing Connect, which is Sanford/Lee County’s task force to end homelessness. A field in the Arena Barn will be split into a grid, and each square will be sold leading up to the event. At 6:00 p.m. that night, the group will release a cow into the field. The square in which the cow deposits a “patty” could win the money.

The event will also include competitions, games for kids, door prizes, music, and more. All funds raised will benefit homeless shelters in Sanford and Lee County.

To play, purchase a square for $25. Tickets are on sale now, and can be purchased from Family Promise at 2302 Woodland Avenue, the Buggy Building at 115 Chatham Street, or from a member of S3 Housing Connect.
