2 Closures will Affect Traffic in Sanford this Week

The N.C. Department of Transportation has scheduled two big street closures in Sanford this week that will affect traffic.

Closure #1: As reported last week, the agency will close sections of Horner Blvd to thru-traffic starting June 24. The first affected section will be at the railroad tracks by Taco Bell. When that section is complete, the section by Auto Zone. See full information here.

Closure #2: The other major closure will be the US Hwy 1 ramps on the 421 Bypass. The ramps will be closed on Monday and Tuesday for resurfacing. See the details of the closure and the approved detours here.
