Glenda Rosser has been promoted to Financial Services Director for the City of Sanford.
Rosser was hired in August 2009 to serve as Senior Accountant. She was promoted to Financial Services Supervisor in August 2015 and to Financial Services Manager in September 2022. She received the NC Finance Officers Association Certified Local Government Finance Officer certification on January 1, 2021 and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
“Glenda’s record of commitment to providing our staff, partners, residents, and customers with accurate, thorough, and sound financial management makes her the best person to step into this role,” says Assistant City Manager Beth Kelly, who vacated the position last month.
“As the City moves into position as a regional water provider and implements the water treatment plant expansion and partnerships, Glenda’s knowledge, experience, and leadership are crucial assets that will serve us well,” Kelly says.
