The City of Sanford reminds Sanford’s residents and utility customers that TriRiver Water is their water and wastewater services provider, effective July 1, 2024.
Customer account numbers will not change. The only updates customers need to make are who they pay and where payments are sent.
- Customers who pay City of Sanford via online banking should update the payee to TriRiver Water to ensure smooth payment transactions.
- Customers who currently pay by checking or savings account draft will not have to set up bank draft with TriRiver Water as that information will transfer automatically.
- Customers who pay via check should now make checks payable to TriRiver Water and mail to: PO Box 63060, Charlotte, NC 28263-3060.
- Customers who pay in person should continue paying at 225 East Weatherspoon Street, Sanford, NC 27330.
- Customers who pay via phone should continue calling 919-775-8215.
Engineering services related to water and wastewater projects have also transitioned to TriRiver Water. Full engineering information is available on TriRiverWater.com under “Resources.”
Note that customers who have subscribed to receive email and text notifications from the City of Sanford regarding water and wastewater concerns will now receive them from TriRiver Water. Notifications will also be shared by TriRiver Water on the provider's Facebook and Instagram.
