  • Case presentation
    • Comply with judicial process, present facts, obtain arrest warrants, and present case for court
  • Crime Scene Investigation
    • Conduct a thorough investigation, document the facts accurately, be familiar with forensic capabilities, and collect and preserve evidence
  • Develop informants
    • Gather intelligence information
  • Enforce local, state, and federal laws
    • Demonstrate an above average knowledge of criminal laws
  • Incident Reports
    • Compile, maintain, and distribute to appropriate authorities detailed and concise reports
  • Interview suspects
    • Demonstrate interrogative techniques
  • Investigate reported crimes
    • Identify, locate, interview and detain suspects
  • Public Relations
    • Aid the public with their request for assistance
  • Public speaking engagements
  • Readiness for duty
    • Respond when called upon - without unnecessary delay
  • Search and Seizure
    • Demonstrate above average knowledge of search and seizure laws
  • Surveillance
    • Conduct surveillance on target locations and review security surveillance tapes
