Bulk Trash Collection

Service Overview

The City offers weekly residential collection of bulk trash at curbside. Bulk trash are items inappropriate to place in the garbage truck for compacting and size restrictions. While crew make every effort to follow the schedule posted below, excessive amounts of bulk trash, inclement weather, equipment failures and city observed holidays can delay bulk trash collection. If your bulk trash isn’t collected on your scheduled day, please allow us until the end of the week to complete collection.

Bulk items should be left at curbside or at the city’s right-of way. All bulk trash should remain in front of the property from which the waste originated. Bulk trash items must be placed at the curb by 7am on your scheduled pickup day. All items must be arranged into separate piles for servicing.

Example items of bulk trash include:

  • Furniture
  • Mattresses & Box Springs
  • Appliances
  • Toilets
  • Bicycles
  • Metal
  • Other like materials
