The S3 Housing Connect Task Force’s Housing Advocacy Action Group is hosting a meeting at Manna Church on Tuesday, August 27 to provide information and gather feedback about affordable housing.
This meeting is the last of four meetings held by the task force to engage the community around affordable housing advocacy. Participants will hear from experts, share strategies, and discuss housing needs.
“Our hope for these meetings is that attendees will leave feeling empowered to support and advocate for affordable housing policy and opportunities in our community,” says Tradell Adkins, Community Development Planner for the Sanford/Lee County Planning Department and liaison to the Housing Advocacy Action Group.
The meeting will start at 6:00 p.m. at the church, located at 1408 Burns Drive. All members of the community are encouraged to attend. Attendees can register at www.sanfordnc.net/housing-meeting, though registration is not required.
