The Sanford/Lee County Community Development Department is accepting applications for housing rehabilitation or reconstruction housing assistance.
Lee County is applying to the N.C. Department of Commerce for a 2024 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)-NR Project for $950,000 from the department’s Rural Economic Development Division community development funds. If selected, the applicant would need to enter into an interest-free rehabilitation/reconstruction housing forgivable loan for up to an 8-year term through the CDBG program.
