Due to flash flooding and storm-related damage on June 5, the Sanford Buggy Company building located at 115 Chatham Street in Downtown Sanford is closed to the public until further notice.
County staff and services, including Environmental Health, GIS Strategic Services, Finance, and the Fire Marshal’s office, remain available by phone, email, and in-person at temporary locations.
For Environmental Health permits and other related matters, individuals may call 919-718-4641, ext. 5388 for assistance. For in-person services, the temporary address for Environmental Health is in the Gordon Wicker Room located at the Lee County Government Center at 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford.
The remaining departments listed above may be reached directly by phone or email and are available for in-person services by appointment.
City of Sanford staff and all City services remain available by phone, email, and online. The City encourages residents to use its digital services or contact departments directly for assistance.
