Join local elected officials and the Sanford/Lee County Planning Department on Tuesday, February 28 for a strategy session to combat homelessness.
Attendees will start the evening at 5:00 p.m. with a complimentary dinner. Breakout sessions and a SWOT analysis will begin at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Public Works Service Center, located at 601 N. Fifth Street.
One major goal of the meeting is to establish a white flag shelter for emergency needs in our county.
Anyone interested in joining the conversation about homelessness in our community is encouraged to attend, including nonprofits, businesses, faith-based and community groups, and individuals.
