Sanford City Council will hold a work session on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, in the West End Conference Room of the Sanford Municipal Center, located at 225 E. Weatherspoon Street, starting at 1 p.m.
The meeting agenda includes discussion of the new municipal utility building and its associated park amenities and connecting pathways.
Council will also hear updates on NCDOT’s Comprehensive Transportation Plan for Sanford/Lee County and the Safe Streets for All Safety Action Plan, and continue its discussion of rates for the upcoming microtransit service.
